MAF Improvement Kit

The product was designed to solve engine timing being pulled due to engine heat soak. In warm climates or extended use the Nissan's Mass air flow (MAF) sensor will become heat soaked and even with cool air passing the sensor it will read hot, the hot sensor will pull timing when attempted Wide Open Throttle (WOT). Dyno testing on a cold truck with this chip installed will not give any performance gains immediately (nor will it hinder power) but once the engine bay is warm and WOT is attempted the corrected Intake Temps can keep the ECU from pulling timing and net 5-10 sustained horsepower over what would have been lost. This modification does not essentially make power but sustains power when the truck is warm. Does not work on the 2016 Diesel XD and has not been tested on the new gas platform either. To those who have done computer tuning this will not hurt or affect their tune in any way.
